Time passes
in universes expanding
or quick
like beats gone.

This strange
journey
and startling feelings
of déjà vu.

God...I feel
so odd
and so old.

And life feels
just like Mars
sometimes.

Standing up
from the earth
looking out
at the sky.

Pinpoints of light
rushing out towards us
shining from
a billion years ago.
